MAUI VARIETY PROGRAM COORDINATOR
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to implement our sugarcane
varieties program. The incumbent will be responsible for field logistics
and for sound experimental design in the selection and multiplication of
new varieties. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree or
equivalent experience in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Biology, Biotechnology,
or closely related discipline. Knowledge of sugarcane culture,
horticultural systems, and variety testing programs is desirable, as is a
familiarity with statistical evaluations of crop performance. Candidates
should be competent users of Microsoft Office software and its application
to database management. Good verbal and written communication skills are
required.
