91 S4 AT, 88 AT, and 84 AT in Wenatchee

Looks like the seller has a few 928's.? These look like projects, but a 91 for $9400 has potential:

The 88 is $10000:

The 84 is $7500:

Both listed as not running so do your due diligence...

I am trying to figure out how much to spend on my stroker 928. The engine block has been sitting in Anaheim for years after it got the nikasil treatment. It will cost $5000 to get back and another few thousand for pistons, rings and rods then $13-14 thousand to get it put back together. How much would the car be worth after that? The clear coat is going and it has normal wear and tear for a 200,000 mile car. I could sell it as is also. I wish I knew what to do, spending $20k to get a $20k car doesn't sound like a good plan.

If you have the resources, ignore the ROI,

Get the engine built and pop it in there.?? Probably the best sleeper 928 out there :-)? .

Having a 928 that is "concours" is sometimes a curse rather than a blessing....

Drive it hard and put it away wet.? Enjoy the 928 for what it is (a great all around driver).?

One thing I learned a while ago about buying parts cars, the same parts wear out on the same model of cars. Rarely does buying a parts car work out, the only time it did for me was when the parts car turned into a daily driver.

Holy cow, the dashes on the 91 and 88 are near perfect (from what I can tell in the pictures). I'm sure there's a good bit of work to be done but there look to be some pretty good bones there; I hope someone rescues those beauties.

Cheers

I did that for 120,000 miles on the stroker engine but the last dyno tune session at Louis Otts was too much for it. I guess that chip is worth something.

I live in Wenatchee, would be happy to scope these out if anyone has serious interest.??
