If you have the resources, ignore the ROI,
Get the engine built and pop it in there.?? Probably the best
sleeper 928 out there :-)? .
Having a 928 that is "concours" is sometimes a curse rather than
a blessing....
Drive it hard and put it away wet.? Enjoy the 928 for what it is
(a great all around driver).?

I am trying to figure out how much to spend on my stroker 928. The
engine block has been sitting in Anaheim for years after it got
the nikasil treatment. It will cost $5000 to get back and another
few thousand for pistons, rings and rods then $13-14 thousand to
get it put back together. How much would the car be worth after
that? The clear coat is going and it has normal wear and tear for
a 200,000 mile car. I could sell it as is also. I wish I knew what
to do, spending $20k to get a $20k car doesn't sound like a good
plan.

Looks like the seller has a few
928's.? These look like projects, but a 91 for $9400 has
potential:
The 88 is $10000:
The 84 is $7500:
Both listed as not running so do your due diligence...
