Re: Seattle area repair shops?
Hi Bill!? Happy to see you still have your 928. My last belt replacement was at Squire's Autowerke at 134th NE and BellRed Road.? Eric is a factory trained 928 mechanic and he knows his trade.? Highly recommended. Brian Sullivan

Re: Ken: What chips do you use/
开云体育I have a list (somewhere) of most of the chips the 928 would use. Also the sticker on top is to protect it from UV.? I use an EPROM
eraser to clear the chips data.? It takes about a few minutes
under the UV light. You could just expose them to the sun,
however, it would probably take a couple of weeks I also have an EPROM Burner that will download and upload chip programming. Once downloaded you can use software to change the bin file. Michael

More curious about the model #. I collect these like PEZ from racers with illegal ECUs in E30 BMW classes. On Fri, Oct 6, 2023 at 3:42?PM Michael Benno <michael.benno@...> wrote:

I suggest go for it! ?
It's going to be great track weather 70 F. ?
On Saturday we are splitting the big group up with part of it running with seats so it shouldn't be too crowded on track. ?
You should be able to find me with mine number 41. My tow car is a white Ford Expedition.
I am parked about two or three vehicles west of the HOD tent/trailer. ?

Last Hooked On Driving Days - October 6 & 7 At The Ridge
Hey everyone - Last Hooked On Driving (HOD) event is this Friday and Saturday at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA.??
I am sure it is too late to sign up (we have 65 cars Friday and 85 on Sunday).?? Since my 1980 is retired from the track, I won't be able to give rides like I did with "Middleman" when he visited last year, but if you come to watch at all, I can get anyone a Coach Demo Ride with someone in a variety of cars - Bring your helmet if you have an SA2015 or newer one.? "M" helmets are not allowed at HOD.? HOD has helmets that can be used if you do not have an approved lid.? ?? I will be driving my Race Car - At this point I have no student on Friday, so I should be driving all C group sessions (on the hour).? Black & White #41 Stock Car for those who did not make it to the Battle Ground BBQ in August....? Saturday I have an A Client I am Coaching but should have a fair amount of driving time and time to talk and set up Demo rides for anyone who decides to visit to watch & wants a ride with a Coach.? ?? Let me know if anyone has any questions.? If you are not busy, come out and give a look at HOD.?? Keith Martin 1980 Metallic Black 5 Speed S4 Brakes & Wing, S Spoiler & Euro S Cams? |

开云体育Not really an issue if you end up with euro ones, just swap cables.? ?:) Are the reflector portions of the lamps truly identical? Worth considering, if so. But I’d still have to buy a pair of lenses to avoid looking weird.? |

Re: Seeking S4 fog/driving light lens
开云体育Roger with 928srus has replacement lenses that you can install. They are plastic but work excellent and cant chip like the originals Cheers Colin J 604-807-4523? -------- Original message -------- From: Joe Elliott <jelliott4@...> Date: 2023-09-29 10:06 a.m. (GMT-08:00) To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Subject: [PacNW928] Seeking S4 fog/driving light lens I've got a sizeable stone chip in my left fog light lens; anyone have an extra one lying around, or a USA-spec S4 parts car??
