What are the "grey" manuals versus the maroon ones that I have? Keith Martin
If I needed some of the parts he is offering, I would be all over it. So far, no wrecks or hit deer. I¡¯m sure that could change.
If he is getting rid of some other large parts like a block that I can get rebuilt it would make sense for me. I will PM him in Rennlist and see if he is doing something like that.
I have a pickup that I could take down if wanted. It is a 6¡¯ 6¡± bed with a topper so can¡¯t go to high.
?
Hope to make it up your way sometime and see your project.
Mark Anderson posted yesterday on Rennlist that as part of his location move, many large parts are for sale at screaming deals.? "Fenders, doors, bumpers, hoods, and seats are all $100." ? ?

Is there enough group interest here in the PacNW to make a trip with a truck and/or trailer worth it?
I can try that, but the risk of damaging something that I've spent a ton of money on trying to make right several times has me keeping it in the garage until I know it's fixed. Can't keep pouring money (up to about 1600 now) into this clutch and have it fail in some way again.
I've reached the end of my patience rope
with this 928.?
I have replaced or resurfaced all of the
components of the clutch. I still get a chatter on
engagement.? The intermediate plate is pinned and
straighted. New clutch discs. Resurfaced flywheel and
brand new pressure plate.?
I'm looking to see if there is a local
expert that can help with the diag on this in the tacoma
area. I'm clearly missing something.?
Here is my car with the Cup 2 wheels. Just to clarify one more thing, the pictures I have posted earlier were taken by the previous owner when he was selling the car. I have only driven about 2k miles since 2021.

Hi Rob,
This car needs about $3-4k worth of cosmetic work - front bumper, hood, side panels, etc. Then, the driver seat leather repair work. With that in mind, I was thinking around $23k. I bought the car for $24k and put in $10k. But again, I am willing to negotiate because my wife wants the car out of the house sooner rather than later.
A bit more about the car. The previous owner - who was based in Colorado and California - had the car for almost a decade. He thought he was a pretty handy person but occasionally he took more than what he could chew. This was the major reason why the car stayed with Leif "Guru" Johnson of Autowerks since he had to reset many things to the factory standard. I think he got about 95% done.?
Regards, Simon

Autowerks' Leif Johnson has done close $10,000 worth of work on this car including the timing belt / water pump replacement in 2022, repairing steering column, etc. The car has been driven about 1000 miles since Autowerks' repair.
The total mileage of the car is 131,783 miles. I am either 7th or 8th owner of the car.
The color is Venetian blue.
The wheels on this car has been changed to Cup 2 wheels to accommodate diverse set of All Season tires
Mechanically the car is sound but it needs to be driven. My wife and I downsized our home and have no room for this car. There are several cosmetic issues which I have not been able to get to.
