If Mike is not interested in some of those front suspension parts, I certainly am.
?
I'll talk to Mike offline, as well.

Hooked On Driving August 8-9 at The Ridge in Shelton WA
HOD is at The Ridge Motorsports Park again in Shelton, WA this Thursday & Friday August 8th & 9th.??
The Ridge was always my favorite track for 928 driving, so go to Hooked On Driving "dot com" and sign up if you and your car are ready.??
?
My #41 Stock Car ran great in the morning at the Ridge last time, but my Rear End Cooler broke......? Got a new one but it won't fit the mounts so making either mount modifications or just connecting hoses & running without the cooler - Even though it will be fairly hot, the 20 minute sessions shouldn't stress my differential.??
Let me know if any questions.??

Risky Business 928 For Sale
Wow - One of the three 1979 928’s used in Risky Business is going on the auction block this month. ?They figure it will bring at least $1.4 million. ?
https://www.autoblog.com/2024/08/03/porsche-928-from-risky-business-up-for-auction-expected-to-fetch-at-least-1-4-million/
Gee, since the 1980 like mine has many improvements over the 1979, maybe I should just let mine go for a measly $1.5 million…….?

Re: Last Chances For Midwest Cassis 5-Speed
I think Dave is moving a lot of his 928's. He mentioned this a few months?ago he said he was dissheartend?by some of the personal attacts within the forum. But then he was back in the game so maybe he is up for that green club sport.

Now that you mention it, I think so.? He also just sold the "Coca
Cola" race car .??
Maybe he's freeing up some room to pick up that Green 1989 Club
Sport :)

Failed to meet reserve with a final bid of
$41k. Listed as a BIN for $55k now.
Probably a bit high with all the deferred
items, then again mileage like this isn’t something you
see everyday.
?
Wow, that screams "80's"? Cassis Rot with Burgandy
interior!? low miles (28k).? Like a time capsule, and
a 5sp to boot.
Hey Benno, grab this and skip the engine upgrades on
the GTS :D LOL....

Hooked On Driving At The Ridge July 25th
HOD is at The Ridge Motorsports Park again in Shelton, WA this Thursday July 25th.??
I FINALLY got my fuel problem sorted out, so the #41 Stock Car should be running fast all day long.? Whew!!??
The Ridge was always my favorite track for 928 driving, so go to Hooked On Driving "dot com" and sign up if you and your car are ready.??
Let me know if any questions.??
What causes the CIS to run lean?
?
Pressure testing the WUR shows everything within spec.
?
The CO screw was adjusted based on fuel flow on an open port on the fuel distributor.
But my plugs are white.
?
Alright. ?I figured this one out.
?
The new copper crush washer I used connecting the flare fitting to the control port on thenfuel distributor was thinner than OEM. ?Hence a small pressure leak.
?
Hello everyone,?
I still haven't completely given up on the f136 /928 project. Does anyone know of an engineless 928 in the south sound that I can set this engine into for some feasibility checks??
Don't really have room for a whole 2nd 928 at the house, but if someone has an empty bay near tacoma, I'd love to lower an engine in and see how much I'd have to cut to get it to work.?
I'd also take a 944 at this point, since I think the subframe and oil pan config are more swap friendly in that car.?
Jeff Evans
I am truly baffled. After failing to get it to start, I hooked up the gauge again. When I close the valve (next to the WUR), it fires right up. When I open the valve, no start. Rechecking pressures with the relay jumped, both pressures are normal. I remove the gauge, reinstall the hard line, and no start. Is my understanding correct that the fuel is fed from the top of the FD to the WUR through the hard line, and from there back to the inlet at the FD. Or is it fed from the inlet at the bottom of the Fd, thru the WUR, then to the top of the FD?
Richen the CO screw 1/4 turn?
Cheers

Subject: [PacNW928] No start
So, playing with the fuel system and WUR System and control pressure are within specs. I adjusted the air valve idle mixture screw with a spare injector, per the WSM. pulled the plugs and spun the motor to make sure no excess fuel was present in the cylinders. Now, I have a no start condition. ?Engine will start with no starting fluid, butdies quickly
What could I have overlooked?
