If you are looking for the Porsche font, I have it. It's uppercase only. I
can send it to whoever wants it.

Shark Drag T-shirt graphics

ADAM BIRNBAUM

Hello everyone,

I've attached a copy of the t-shirt graphics for everyone to see. The jpeg
is just a scan of a template. It will be colored in on the final version.
The Word file attachment is the sleeve and front left breast graphic.

Let me know what you all think. Tom had suggested perhaps changing the team
name to Stuttgart Luftwaffe, using the gothic type text. I'd be curious to
hear any feed back on this suggestion, and would be willing to do a mock up
if anyone wants to see it.

I don't know if the Pac NW list supports attachments, so I tried to email as
many of you direct as I could from my home computer. I don't have everyone's
email address here at home, so some of you may only pick up the text of the
email from the list server.

Hello All,

I need to know your shirt sizes for the Shark Drag T-shirts.

They will be long sleeve T's. I have a Large from 928SP which is plenty
big, so that is the size I will be getting for myself.

Let me know what size you want. I am meeting with the T-shirt guy
tonight,
so I should have an estimated cost for the completed shirts for everyone.
I'm curious to see how much extra the nickname screening will add,
hopefully it won't be cost prohibitive.

I will scan jpegs of the front, sleeve, and back graphic and email them
to
everyone tonight.

If you have any input on any of the designs, please let me know. We will
probably have about two weeks before the screens are burned, should
anyone
have any changes they want to make.

I must say, the design looks pretty cool so far. I think everyone will
like
it.

Re: Shirt sizes please

Hi Adam,

Make mine a large. As far as the name goes, how about Stuttgart
Luftwaffe (for a total germanic theme) maybe in that very typical
German Font (can't remember the name) Im not sure I can describe it
but you see it in all the WWII movies when they show German stuff
(kind of like a harsh Calligraphy)???? Oh well its probably too late
anyway.

let me know how much moola to send.

Re: forsale and digest question

Hi Mark,
Its a done deal, you should now be in digest mode. If you want to
change in the future, just log into and type
in your email address and the password from the first message sent to
you. Then go through the pages until you find your mail options. Or
you can send me an email and I will take care of it.

Too bad I didn't know about your 79 earlier, Just sold my scraped 84
because I couldn''t find reasonably priced parts (locally). Oh well,
maybe you'll get a call from its new owner Bob up in BC (who is also
on the list).

Later,

Tom

I've got some chevy-engined thing over here!!!
Actually Don it's an all Porsche hybrid: '80 US auto turning '83 Euro
5 spd.
I will have a spare body left over free to a good(or bad) home
Jim

Jim has a hybrid? Could you give me some info., Jim? I don't have
your
email handy, filed it and emptied the trash. I am interested in doing one
of those to run in hillclimbs, openroad races, etc. (have to use up all
those spare parts from my crashed car and a racecar hybrid would be fun,
probably, and a good use for all the extra running gear, etc.
Let me know, if you have the time, Don Hanson

Mark, Where are you located? I might like a look at the 79. Any more info on it
you could send off the "Northwet list?"
Don Hanson dhanson@... But I think that appears in the header of
this post.

Can't help with the storage, but I would definitely throw a
coat
of
primer
on it and BRING IT TO THE DRAGS! (or not)

-Adam
Well now given enough time to get it road-worthy,registered,and
enough
"shake-down time" I will certainly bring it - yellow,blue,and
grey.
If I'm still here the drag day is the current goal painted or not!
