Re: 93 GTS - AT ($30K) (Vancouver BC)
开云体育
I don't think it would get parted because it still can be registered and driven no problem in Canada. I know a car dealer in Montana who bought a "export only" Ford Excursion from the U.S Gov surplus auction but has driven it for 5 years in the USA on his dealer
plate so there are ways.??

The database shows this one as a late 93 (number 92 out of 102).
Some interesting options (there were lots on this one)? including unknown IXD4 and IX22, I323 Sticker without ESE-R regulations, I596 Spoiler painted matte black, I912 vehicle without identification plate, and the interior was supposed to be light grey/black.?
Now changed to tan with red piping.?
Looks like an ok job on the interior (not many pics).? Shame on the wing repaint to body color.?
Perhaps someone can grab it and register in the US where they don't research the title as closely??
If in fact it did cross the border without customs knowing, then getting back across without customs shouldn't be a big deal, just have the owner drive across and transfer.?
Anyone up for a challenge LOL :D? I still hope someone saves it so it won't get parted out.

"Low Miler" on Rennlist tried to buy it almost 20 years ago.? He flew to Seattle with cash and walked away because the U.S title the owner had was just a photo copy. The problem is when the owner imported into Canada they didn't clear the export with U.S customs
so going back into the USA could be a problem because it will show still registered somewhere in the USA.?
You can see on the carfax there was something weird with the owner at that time registering it in multiple different places in a short time.?

Intriguing for sure.? In BC but looks like a US model.? Has high (relatively) 151K, and obvious issues; however, the ad clearly states stuff done (there's a lot).
Work done by Colin so I suspect he knows more about it.?
Oil consumption issues (like all GTS'), overall looks decent and in my mind seems to be a great way to get into a GTS and then pull a "Benno" and do a 5sp swap, engine rebuild, and you're good to go :D.?

FS: Black 87+ new floor mat set, genuine Porsche
Greetings, I purchased this set of black mats with the hopes they would fit reasonably well in my 1980 car.? Turns out they do not, but they do fit great in 1987 and later.? No surprise, since that's what they are intended for.? $100, brand new, located in Wenatchee.? Hopefully someone can use them!

APGD 9-8
Hi.? The All Porsche Grand Display is happening Sunday September 8 at Carillon Point, Kirkland.? Would be nice to have a good turnout of 928s.?
?
My late husband Adrian always enjoyed taking on the challenge of having a strong turnout of 928s at the shows.??

Wanted - junk crank
My machine shop is cleaning a S4 crank for one of my engine builds. We want to clean out the sludge ports on the crank but have concerns about drilling out the plug pins on my nice crank. We are looking for a junk crank we can practice on first. Let me know if there is one available in the PDX area.?
?
Picture of plug:
I'm also looking for guidance on how best to remove the?plug and reseal them. My understanding is that the plugs are hardend?steel pins pressed in with an aluminum sleeve. The hardened steel is very difficult to drill out, so tips are appreciated.? My understanding replacing the plugs require tapping out threads into the impossibly hardened steel crank and then using a threaded plug, preferably a tapered thread.? ?
Any thoughts and recommendations here are appreciated.
?
Thanks for you thoughts in advance,?

Re: Suspension Parts.
Thanks for the photo. Can you clarify some details? Are those from a S3.5/S4/GT/GTS or are they from a earlier version. That airbox has me thinking these parts were for a S3 or S3.5. Can you clarify?if these control arms are early or late? Better yet, please provide the part numbers. I cannot make out the part numbers in the photos but the date code on the LCA looks to be '79. Second question, can you confirm if these are new or used?? On Sun, Aug 18, 2024 at 2:03?PM Michael via <Martinirossi=[email protected]> wrote:
