Hello Adam, Chris, and all of the PACNW928 Bunch!
Just recovering from serious 10 hour jet lag after a 30 hour flight
home---so hopefully this will make some sense.
I have just returned from four weeks in Kampala, Uganda; working on
privatizing the electric power sector. Hard to believe, but it is a great
place with nice people, ideal climate, great food and cheap beer. The roads
are hammered, however, with massive pot holes. I did see one 924 on the
road, but everything else are SUV's. We have a diesel Pajero for the
project, slow as can be, but it is just about the right size to keep
everyone sufficiently intimitated!
Anyway, fired up the 928 today, no problems and always a joy to get the
shark back on the road.
Thanks for the invite to the drags, but looks like I missed it. Will be
heading back to Uganda in about 20 days.
Someday I will make it over to the coast.
