Michael B. and Tom M.- It would be great to have you guys at the BBQ if it happens. I know Tom M. mentioned having some experience with 928 timing belts which would be helpful.

pacnw928 guys- Anyone else want to learn about timing belts? Its a great opportunity to get familiar with what's under your hood which can help you become more proactive about maintenance. Oh- and even better than that....there would be free wine and pizza involved! At this point, if Keith M. and Mrs. Martin okay the event, we would have 6 attendees. (Keith, Tom928, Tom M, Michael B, Aaron K, and myself).

Tom928- I've not tried the Argentina Cab either...sounds amazing! I haven't ordered the case of wine yet, but if Keith gives the go ahead, I will!

Keith- No worries if for whatever reason it doesn't come together. No pressure. The timing belt adjustment is a really easy job. It will get done regardless. It would just be nice to have some guidance, and it would be great to meet some of the pacnw928 guys.

pacnw928 guys- Random issue-- Check out the attached photo! That foam heat shield under the hood completely crumbles and deteriorates after awhile. A company in Dearborn, Michigan makes these replacements that are so cool. (I hope they are still in business. The Youtube video where I found out about them is pretty old.) How cool to have it look so clean under the hood, and that decal with the Porsche insignia is sweet!
