??? Hi again

??? I checked the website at Thunderhill Racetrack.? They
indeed have an "open test" day on the Friday before Devek
Day.? I have done a couple of days at Thunderhill with my
Motorcycle roadrace buddies, and it is an awesome track!
Wide, smooth pavement, great sight-lines, wide-open
run-offs, and a really super staff.
??? On prior trackdays there, our group got special rates at
a really nice motel/resturant in Willows, about 15mins from
the track, and I am sure we could do that again.? Great
resturant and bar also.
??? It costs $175 for the day at the track.? They have
flaggers, ambulance, food, and fuel.? I will look further
into it, if there is interest.? I also mentioned the idea to
Susan Thomas to see if they wanted to 'officially' sanction
the (maybe) event, or thought it was a good idea.? We will
see.We? might also want to? open it to other Rennlisters if
everyone thinks that might be good.? We could probably get
the whole track, if there are enough of us, or otherwise
just sign up early to assure us all a spot and run with
whoever else is testing that day.? The weekend has a private
school on Sat. and a MC day on Sunday, so we probably would
not have to deal with a bunch of racers tuning for an event
the following day.
??? So that is what we can do, if there is enough interest.
Could leave here Thursday, meet in Willows for dinner, track
-it Friday and go on down to Belmont, or whatever.? Looks
do-able and it would really be fun.
??? If anyone is interested, let me know fairly soon so
there is some time to organize stuff and maybe get it out to
the other 928ers that might be interested, or even to other
friends or whatever the group(if there is one) decides.
