Happer Easter Monday everyone.? Yes, its celebrated in most places in Europe.? We found that out when we were
cruising? the Rhine? river some years ago, our? boat? docked at a small town but visitation was limited being its 'Good Friday', then definitely on Easter Day, most shops were closed (except for the T-shirt shops), but we figured on our
next stop being its Monday we can do some shopping.? But we found most normal shops were closed for 'Easter Monday'
except for the t-shirt shops.

Steve, very interesting info about your family tree. My Shirley got the genealogy bug years ago, and have traced her roots
back to 15th century.? She found it? was very helpful to follow the large number of? descendants and its generations by
using a software 'Family Tree Marker'....and its? easy to update with new entries.? And you have the option of
selecting the type of tree-charts you wanted to display.? The tedious name chart you compiled is very detailed but
time consuming to update and not the easiest to follow? to the untrained eyes.? Its? a very good view
of the? current Hatch family tree. Maybe you can start a second hobby in genealogy? by tracing the Hatch family roots.

Re: More play during the lock down

Steve,

I will be staying on my middle daughter's property outside of Clayton, CA.? My quilting studio is there.? Youngest daughter lives about 20 minutes away. Oldest daughter (the one with all the Friesian horses) lives now in Modesto which is about 1.25 hours away.? She just had open heart surgery to replace her aortic valve.? I am trying to go there twice a week to help her.? That coupled with the two days a week that I take care of a GGD, keep me busy & hopefully out of trouble.

I will have to make one more trip to my home in MX to get my personal belongings.? The house is being sold furnished which is the norm there. Family is one of the biggest reasons I am giving up my home in MX but I will miss it terribly.

Thanks, Gary.? I would love to see pics of Shirley's antique quilts.? I have some old quilt tops I bought on eBay that are all hand pieced.? I intend to quilt them up so they can be used.? I was going to give them to my girls but they seem to prefer the ones I make from scratch. I think they like the bright colors I use. Lately,? I have kind of gotten sidetracked with knitting which I do from time to time but I always go back to quilting.

Let's start a new subject.? Post a picture of your hobby &/or interest with an explanation & maybe a mention of city & state where you now reside.? Claire, let's see some pics of your dogs, past/present.? Tell us about the breed.? Wasn't there someone who carved or collected duck decoys?? Let's see a picture.? I think there is a whole lot of interesting things going on in your lives.

I think this gives you idea of what type of quilts I make.? They are mostly traditional patterns with contemporary fabrics.? I have a long arm computer controlled quilting machine so am able to do very intricate, precise quilting designs on them.? Most of them are already in their new homes.? However, I keep some in the cupboard that can be given to someone who needs the comfort of a quilt because of life circumstances.

BTW, I sold my home in Mexico.? I will make one more trip down there to clear out my personal belongings.? I didn't want to sell it but felt it was the right thing to do at this time.

Hope you all are doing well during this unsettling time.
