This is really sad news.? Attila was such a force in our amateur astronomy community.? I’ll certainly miss him and his great and easily shared store of
knowledge.

Thanks Mike for sharing. Some of us heard the news at the RASC dinner the week before that he had moved to palliative care. I was lucky enough to have time to send him a short note and get a reply (he said he was very slow reading email).
:) I assume it was one of the reasons he asked for another moderator about six weeks ago for this channel although I didn't realize?it. We're a pretty quiet group, but he will definitely be missed.?
I have a new 3D printer, and am thinking of making a Dob...and my first thought when I looked at the project was that once I got to doing it, I'd ask Attilla for advice.?
