I was ecstatic to take in the event my hometown of Sydenham, just north of Kingston. Skies were cloudy until right before totality. Mind blowing. My brother convinced a bunch of locals to come out to join our family at our football field, and we had travellers from Ajax and Ottawa join us as well.
