Re: Solar Scope

Hi folks:

I have a Lunt 60mm h alpha solar scope and I am very pleased with it.? I got it with a double stack (add on) which really brings out the detail on the sun's surface.? The prominences are also amazing.? I have created a shield that blocks extraneous light getting into your eyes as you view the solar image.? All this stuff is expensive.? I now supplement visual solar observing with capturing the solar diskc and flares using a camera connected to a laptop. I can save some of images if I want.?

Cheers,

Jim

Well that's pretty depressing. At least I saved myself from disappointment thanks to the group's expert responses.?
