Adam -- FYI, the lot is only good until about 12:30 anyway, no permission to stay later even with scopes. Paul

I showed up late (10 pm) and the parking lot was nearly full. It was my first time, but I would consider that a decent turnout.
It was a lot of fun, I'll definitely come for future events.
Seems like the scope-less folks had cleared out by midnight. It will be nice towards the fall with more hours of darkness. Temperature dropped and the bugs buggered off.

Glad it was a good turnout! I'm going tonight to do sidewalk here in Perth for the 5 day old moon --by the crystal palace near the Perth basin

I got there (sans scope) about 9:00, and there was quite a large selection of scopes set up. The number of public attendees was quite large as well. Sky was clear and steady, and the night ended with nice views of Saturn!
