Autostakkert gave me artifacts in images it loaded for reasons
unknown. I still like it, but am a little gun shy now. I am
converting .MOV to .AVI. so there could have been a file difference.
It wasn't every image, just some. AviStack2 works fairly well. I
also have a new conversion process.
Two things I now use, PIPP - Planetary Imaging PreProcessor which
conveniently reads .MOV files, and Planetary System Stacker (PSS)
which is in python. I use DeepSky Stacker for non planet stuff.
It has been a wild couple weeks with new computer, new software and
new point and shoot camera. Big learning curve. :)

aware but?Autostakkert is a good alternative to
Registax. I have not tried it on Win11 though.?
