Hello OAEF Members, I am guessing that many of you may be watching AB 811, which is a bill that has passed both the Assembly and the Senate about restoring some repeatability options for our students. If Governor Newsom signs this bill, students will be able to repeat courses in Foreign Languages, the Arts, and other disciplines even if they successfully pass with an A, B, or C. The goal of this is to promote skill building and life-long learning. Unfortunately, the CCCO just announced that they oppose this bill. FACCC and Senator Mike McGuire's office urges that faculty email the Governor and express your support for this important bill. You can email the Governor here Please share with your colleagues.
