OAEF website questions

Hello, OAEF people-
There was a short discussion about the OAEF website at yesterday's meeting. Last year when Kristen and Amy went to the convention in LA, I quickly created the ElderEdCA.org website because OAEF.org was registered by someone else. But now OAEF.org is available, and I just registered it.

In general, the .org domain extension indicates a non-profit, which OAEF definitely is. Being a non-profit isn't a legal requirement for a dot.org site -- i.e., it doesn't have to be registered as a 501(c)3 -- but it generally is an organization that isn't a profit-making company by design. For future reference, here's Forbe's general info, potential expense, and legal requirements for NPOs:

So now... what should be on the website? Any mission statements, goals, general thoughts? Something else?

Hope you're having a good holiday off. It's been dreary all morning in lower El Cerrito, and its just now getting relatively sunny. Think I'll go do some errands.

Sign me,
Linda M. (as opposed to Linda C... 8-)

Great idea to include the powerpoint!?

And we could also have a resources page.?

This is the website I created for Adult Ed Sustainability -

You can see that sometimes I provided links to Google Docs - that makes it easier for me to update things.?
