Fw: URGENT: 04/22 and 04/23 Measure X - Budget Hearing Advocacy

Hi everyone,

Here is some very valuable information about how to advocate for Measure X funding for services for seniors and adults with disabilities, particularly the West Contra Costa Adult Education classes for older adults.? During public comment, which looks like it will be around mid-day tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23, we should mention these programs and point out that they might have to close if a source of funding is not found.? While we work to expand programs for vulnerable populations in Contra Costa County, we certainly don't want to lose the ones we have!??

Kristen
