I have not but I cannot imagine there would be any problems using it. It all attaches via the lens mounts so it should be body independent.

THanks for the follow up. Have you tried this with the D1
configuration and, if so, what were your results?

Olympus P400 dye sub

Is anyone out there using the Olympus P400 dye sub printer? I have
read good reviews and also had some good recommendations... BUT..
Where does one get the printer"ribbons" for these and how much are
they? I have not seen them for sale..(and as you see... don't even
know the proper name!) How many 8x10's are in a ribbon, etc?

Has anyone used the D1 or D1x in jpeg mode and used photoshop to
tweak then used the P400 as the final output? If so...yea or nay?
And if not... WHY not?

Thanks,
Tim

Does anybody out hter have Capture II???

Sure would beat buying a scanner. And the 'scans' would be significantly
faster than the Coolscan II that I have. It scans at 2500+x3600+, but I'll
bet that there is not a noticeable difference in the result. May be a good
way to justify an additional $1500 in expenditure in avoided costs. I have
the bellows and slide attachment from a long time ago.

Let me know how that comes out.

Craig

Right you are!! My D1 feels & shoots just like my F5!!

Almost immediate!! None at all!!

Hi

This is probably the best D1x review that I have read.

www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond1x/default.asp

Enjoy!

I have also taken some of the sample images, blown them
up to 24" x
36" and compared them to the D1. Fantastic!! Try it and
then take a
look at the actual pixels in Photoshop, you will be
amazed!

My next step will be to go to 32" x 48".

Thanks for the info Loren!!
