Warning: Email groups suddenly vanishing (including one for Jewish writers)

This?is a two-part message. 1. For administrators of email groups. 2. For religious Jews working in the publishing industry -- either as publishers, writers, translators, editors, proofreaders, or illustrators. I've noticed that some of the email groups that I'm a member of have suddenly disappeared. What this means is... * IF YOU ARE THE ADMINISTRATOR OF AN EMAIL?GROUP As a precaution, at least once a month, you should export the e-mail addresses of the people in your group into a backup file. This way, if your group suddenly disappears, you can very easily just make a new group and add everyone back on. ? * IF YOU ARE A RELIGIOUS JEW WORKING IN THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY One of the lists that suddenly disappeared was "SOFERET," which has a very active, world-wide following which included over a thousand members. That's why I'm reaching out to this group, because maybe some people in your community were members and are wondering what happened. In the meantime, someone has created another group to fill that void. Here's the group name and description: GROW ¨C The Group for Religious (Jewish) Writers.
