The Chief Purpose
The Gerer Rabbi said: "The Talmud (Sabbath 73) enumerates thirty nine different kinds of work necessary for the construction of the Tabernacle. All these forms of labor had one supreme object - the Tabernacle.
In our various activities during the weekdays, we should likewise emphasize the one chief purpose - namely, the duty to honor the Sabbath. Then our evey action will become sacred."
