Aiding Man in Goodness
The Medzibozer commented on the words: "Abounding in loving-kindness and truth." He said: "Loving-kindness denotes undeserved giving. How can this be reconciled with truth, which implies truly deserved rewards? The explanation lies in the following: it is the Lord's loving-kindness to reward man according to his true deserts. In order to do so, He aids each man in his efforts to do good, and causes opportunites to come to him to achieve it."
