Outside and Inside
Rabbi Judah Zevi of Stretin remarked: "One should keep his special piety hidden; otherwise he is guilty of pride. The word ??? "I", which denotes the proud and haughty person, and ??? 'naught' which denotes the meek and humble one, have the same letters. But in the first , the 'yud' is on the outside, while in the second word, it is in the inside. ('Yud' also means Jew).
