Holy and Unholy
Said the Savraner: "He who serves the Lord earnestly and thoroughly despises worldly affairs should go to the Holy Land if he is able. The holiness there will enable him to attain a higher position of holiness. But he who is as yet unseparated from worldliness and has not fastened his entire mind upon service to the Lord, will do better to remain outside of Palestine. God has permitted the unholy forces to be equal with the holy forces. Hence in the Holy Land where holiness is more powerful, the Evil Impulse is also stronger and harder to resist."
