Outside of Plaestine
Said the "Yud": "Rabbi David of Lelov said: Outside of Plaestine a man may attain success, but not blessing, for 'the Lord bless thee from Zion' (Pslam 134:3). Success means mundane prosperity, and blessing, prosperity from on High. Rabbi Moses of Lelov added: He who surrounds himself with holiness may obtain a blessing even outside of Palestine, since holiness sanctifies the very ground beneath his feet, making it as if it were Palestine itself."
