A Genuine Miracle
The Lizensker commented on the expression: "Show a miracle for yourselve" (Exodus 7:9). He said: "When a magician performs his acts on the stage, they are magical in the eyes of hte audience. The magician himself, however, knows them to be merely tricks. But when the man of God is commanded to perform a miracle, he himself is greatly astonished by the wonder. The Lord intended to say: "Pharaoh will invite you to demonstrate a miracle that will be a marvel even in your own eyes, unlike the magical tricks of his court magicians.' "
