I believe I was one of the last to see the kadosh, Harav Elimelech Wasserman ztz"l, conscious, but I am not sure. I described what I saw to his family at the shivah (I had worked with his son, R. Aharon in the past).
R. Aharon is very keen to know about his father's last moments. I need to find the emergency workers who were taking care of him so I can ask them directly if I have interpreted correctly what I saw. I was about 50 meters away within 2-3 minutes of the attack.
