During Tzuk Eitan I had participated in the project below (davened and said tehillim for the soldier¡¯s name I rec¡¯d for the duration of the war). ?Below is the email I rec¡¯d from the project asking me to sign up again.
I¡¯m forwarding it to the email list on the off chance that someone might be able to sign up to take a name and daven for that soldier. ?Here¡¯s the link:
?
Thanks.
My name is Batsheva, the mother of an Israeli Paratrooper. This is not an email that I wanted to write.?
In 2014, you participated in the Shmira Project during the Gaza operation Tzuk Eitan (Protective Edge). At that time, over 70,000 people from 35 countries took the name of an Israeli soldier and supported him or her through prayer or doing mitzvot (good deeds).
At the end of Operation Protective Edge in 2014, we made a promise never to contact you unless we needed you.?
We need you again.
We are now 4 weeks into a larger, two front war which is only intensifying.
The??is up and running again.?
9 years ago, you signed up to pray for a soldier. Please sign up once more. Over 350,000 soldiers have been called to duty. 240 hostages are captured in Gaza.?
They all have names. But we don¡¯t have all of the soldiers paired with participants yet.?
And so, we need you again.
Please go to??and take the name of a soldier or a hostage and create a spiritual ¡°Iron Dome¡± around them. Do a mitzvah (good deed) in their merit. Pray for them. Bring goodness and light into the world to repel the darkness surrounding them.?
?costs you nothing, but it¡¯s priceless to those whom you protect.?
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and the hearts of all of us in Israel.?
Warmly, Batsheva
PS: Please share this with anyone you know who can help us protect Israel.
You received this email because you subscribed to our list. You can??at any time.?
