The Kobriner visited the Slonimer Rabbi and asked him: "Have your teachers left any writings as a heritage?"
"Yes," replied the Slonimer.
"Are they printed or are they still in manuscript?" asked the Kobriner.
"Neither," said the Slonimer. "They are inscribed in the hearts of their disciples."
