Important Air Tag discussion update

I have received many, many questions and comments on the Air Tag post (which I will reprint at the bottom for those reading this post and missed the original)
#1 What is an Air Tag? An Air Tag is a button-like device that travelers use to track their luggage or those that ship expensive packages such as wigs or other merchandise so that in the event they get lost, their exact location can be tracked.?
#2 How it works The Air Tag is activated through an Apple Device.? It does not have to be your device.? Anyone that has an Apple phone or tablet can activate it for you.? It does not cost any money to activate, and it doesn't affect their device at all.? Once activated, it gets placed in the luggage, tefillin bag, shipping box, or the like and, if need be, can be tracked by the same device to find its exact location.? I personally know of stories that thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was located because of the Air Tag.? Bellow is an incredible response someone just sent me.
"Not exactly sending off boys to yeshiva... My father-in-law got lost a few months back.? My husband bought air tags to put in his coat pocket, and so far (todah Hashem!), we've been able to find him when he realizes he's lost.? We consulted Rabbanim about having a smartphone all the time (as in, not just for my husband's work).? We even asked if there were better options than air tags.? The consensus was to get the air tags and an iPhone, but not the latest iPhone model.? If we need to bring the device out of the house, we have a sticker to put on it that shows it's a medical device.?

How incredible is that??? There is even a silicon watch for kids that fits the Air Tag, so if a child gets lost in the park or Chas Vishalom worse, they can be immediately tracked.? I have even heard parents hide them in shoes so predators don't rip off the watch.? Oy Shelo Neday, let's only need this device and anything else for positive things. Original Post? This is sound advice; trust me, I have lots of boys... and lots of lost Tefillin...?? A tip you will thank me for I slit a little hole in the lining of their Tefillin bags and throw an Air Tag in it and sew it back up.? ?If the Tefillin gets lost, Chas V'Shalom? ?walla, turn on the air tag tracker,? Now how do we track them.... hmmm.....? ? Stay tuned; I may figure that one out. Hatzlacha to all the boys starting the Zman Elul, and for all those still home, may they find their perfect place to grow closer to H'shem Hatzlacha to everyone
