God Requires Man's Help
The Kobriner Rabbi interpreted the words of the Psalmist (118:25) thus: "I beseech you (says the Lord) help Me (O man) by your repentance so that I may be able to grant your plea: 'We beseech You, O Lord, make us now propser.' "
