Service with Gladness
The Alexanderer Rabbi said: " Do you wish to know, how important it is to be full of joy at all times? Moses enumerates a long series of curses (Deuteronomy 28), and then remarks (verse 47): 'because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart.' "
