Last week a student of my husbands came to Jerusalem from South Africa to write the exam with Vaad Mishmeret STaM. It took 2 years of dedicated learning but he passed and obtained his certificate.? He even learned to write according to all the Hallachot via Zoom with webcam. Last week saw another Sofer STaM added to the Sofrim.
