Do Not Investigate
The Kobriner said that the phrase (Numbers 15:39) "And that you go not after your own heart and your own eyes' teaches us this lesson; when an evil thought comes to us, or when we chance to see an unworthy thing, we should not pause to contemplate or investigate it, but we should instantly remove the thought or the sight from our heart and from our eyes."
