In recent years rabbbanim, including the chief Rabbis & community leaders in Hevron, have been attending the annual Ramadan/Iftar celebrations of their neighbours. Somewhat cordial relations are one thing, but being hosted in their homes & public squares while the Muslims celebrate their yontif -l'havdil- are most problematic.?My suggestion is that you contact a highly serious, well respected rav like Rabbi Lior who is far better equipped than I to delve into the numerous problematic halachic issues involved.
