The most beautiful painting, as well as long journeys, are made up of many brush strokes, and many small precise steps. Step after step, heel after heel, a drop of paint followed by another drop, until the painting appears in its entirety and in all its glory. Until the road comes to an end and the person reaches his destination.
The road to Rosh Hashanah is long and full of obstacles. Many stains cover a person's sheet, and he has to work to remove?the?blemishes and mold his Rosh Hashanah. The journey is long, yet short.
