Re: Naion eye progression

I think there are two parts to answer the guestion of improvement.? One is the technical change in the eye.? What happens when the swelling comes down, smoothly or in Scott's unfortunately an extended process .? The other is how we adjust to the change.? How do we and our brain adjust to the change.?

In my case with attacks in both eye I would not like to be stuck with either eye alone, but the damage is different in each eye and to some extent they compensate for each other's loss.? My brain seems to have figured that out giving me some useful vision.? Of course this would not happen if the eyes are severely damaged and have little to contribute.

My vision seemed to improve over many months.? I do not know if that really happened or my brain just figured out how to use what I had.

Further to Lisa¡¯s question about progression. ?
August 22 was normal checkup.
October 8 was first photo of naion.
November 4 shows further hemorrahaging.
At that point I had lost my central vision.
