I experenced NAION in my right eye a little over 2 years ago if you drew a line from 10.30 o 4.30 om a clock the left portion is what was affected.? I am doing everything I can to keep it from ever happening again.
But I find solid information on this disease to be scarce. And Optical Neruologisis are few and far between in Georgia, There there are none in Macon. Like the list of possibilities of causes seems endless. And followed with not much is known about the causes.? Like the active ingredient in Viagra. Many clain it is a caues NAION yet other articals say there is not enough data to prove it.? Or like medicines. I use? Metronidazole Gel, 1%. for rosacea,? I read where Metronidazole is a cause of NAION. But is it refering to the gel 1% or the pill?? Or like Nitric Oxside, a suppliment thay claim promotes circulation . It relaxes blood vessels . It can cause NAION yet L Arginine that I thought did the same thing is given a big humbs up.? Or if? you have surgery am I suppose to have it with out anesthesia? Or a filling at the dentist. I guess if you have ED? you are just out of luck.? Where do you go when you have a question like these.? The optomoligists Ive talked to seem to know about as much as I do. Which aint alot.?
