Nominations for the upcoming election for Executive Director, Board of Directors, Clyde Moore Hall of Fame, Judge of the Year, and Regional MVP have now been released.? There were a number of fine candidates for consideration of inclusion into the Hall of Fame.? The Board had the difficult task of narrowing that race down to five finalists for voting and those finalists have now been selected.? Congratulations to all the nominees!?? The nominees and their bios are now available for review on the NAFA? page at: www.flyball.org.

Ballots should be distributed around December 1, 2016.? We will again do an online email and vote count verification process that will open shortly.? Election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on January 14, 2017 at the Celtic Mayhem tournament in St. Petersburg, FL.

In addition we are in the process of scheduling candidate chats for the Board of Director nominees.? The dates will be published on the NAFA? page as soon as scheduled.? Instructions for accessing the chat application will be provided prior to the first scheduled chat date.

For those that are looking for a raw food supplier in the vicinity of the Indiana State Fairgrounds, you can contact My Pet Carnivore. They have agreed that if there are significant amount of order that they will deliver to the fair grounds on Thursday afternoon.

For those that camp at CanAm, this is just a notification that camping in the parking lot behind Hook’s Pharmacy is being done on an assigned basis. This is intended for people doing setup, tear-down or working during the event itself.

If you are doing any of these activities, and require a spot, please send an email to Neil Flood (nflood51@...), so we can ensure we have a spot assigned for you and the appropriate power drop setup before the event starts.

Please note this does not impact any of the normal RV sites along the fence. Those will remain available on a first come, first serve basis as they have in past years.

Presented by Animal Inn, the ”Josh Beissel Spirit of Flyball” Award will be given to the person(s) that, like Josh, exhibit and embody exceptional goodwill and sportsmanship towards other teams, as well as displaying a real passion and excitement for the thrill of competition and racing.

Josh had a competitor's enthusiasm for racing but he was always humble in victory, gracious in defeat, and when he wasn't in the lanes racing he could always be found assisting another team or the host club.

Josh embodied the spirit of a true ambassador of Flyball and Animal Inn was proud to have had him as a member.

This award is intended to recognize others in our Flyball community that also embody that same spirit and joy for the game that we all love so much.

To nominate someone for the "Josh Beissel Spirit of Flyball Award 2016", please submit your nomination to AnimalInnFlyball@... by September 23rd.

Animal Inn will select a recipient from those nominated by the nomination deadline.
