Re: Flyball Open World Cup (FOWC) Information - Correction
Correction: We had some info lost in translation between FCI & NAFA!
NAFA needs to confirm that there are US and Canadian teams SERIOUSLY INTERESTED in competing in the FOWC.? They do not need to be fully committed to participating at this time.? This will give those seriously contemplating time to explore funding, competition rules etc.? They can later back out if it won't be feasible for their club.??

Flyball Open World Cup (FOWC) Information The FCI has sanctioned the FOWC to be held in Germany on June 1-2, 2024 with a potential practice date of May 31, 2024. The location is at the Hessenhalle Alsfeld. NAFA has been invited to participate again and is allowed 5 teams each from the United States and Canada. We have unfortunately been given an extremely short time period to respond. We need to confirm our participation by this Friday, September 1, 2023. Teams are responsible for all expenses (airfare, lodging, incidentals, etc.) and in the past many teams have turned to fundraising events to offset the cost of competing. In addition, there are no ¡°dream teams¡± allowed (think Regular vs. Open). Please also note that there are strict vaccination requirements when flying your dogs internationally. We ask for serious applications only. Should more than 5 teams submit for consideration, the Board of Directors will initiate a selection process. If your team would like to be considered for this opportunity, we ask that you complete the Google form linked below no later than Thursday, August 31, 2023.
