Ladies and Gentlemen, NAFA would like to introduce Kathy Haney from Region 16 as a candidate for the Board of Directors. After the 1st candidate chat this past weekend, we were informed that Kathy had been nominated but not included in the original slate of candidates. Her nomination letter is included below and we thank her, and all the nominees for their dedication to the sport of flyball. She would be an excellent candidate. She has been playing flyball for 16 years. She has successfully run her own team for 10 years. Surf City's tournaments are one of the best run tournament on the west coast. She's organized, compassionate and a great leader. All these skills would help her be a great board member. Voting information for upcoming elections

This year’s election will again be conducted electronically.??All voters must have a valid email address on file with NAFA to receive a ballot.? Voters include:? Club Owners, Regional Directors, Approved and Supervising Judges, and Board Members.?? Please see the current rulebook at??for the specific vote allocations.? There are no changes since last year's election. If you wish to confirm your email address and number of votes?you have two options: 1.? Go through the?email verification?process, as done in previous years.? The email you receive will also indicate how many votes you have earned for this election. To do this go to??, input your name and email address.? Once you are found in the database, you’ll be sent a confirmation email. -OR- 2.? Check your contact info and see your vote count by logging into your?NAFA website account??.?? You may already have an account if: - you've performed a limited draw - you're a judge who has checked their assignments - you're a Club Owner who has signed up to order Multibreed plaques for your club members. 开云体育Nominations for the upcoming election for Clyde Moore Hall of Fame, Judge of the Year, and Regional MVP have now been released. Congratulations to all the nominees!
The Board of Directors nominees and their bios are now available for review! Ballots should be distributed around December 1, 2017. Candidate chats for the Board of Director nominees have been scheduled! Mark the dates so you can attend and 'talk' to the candidates. Instructions for accessing the chat application will be provided prior to the first scheduled chat date. The dates are: Election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on January 27, 2018 at the Animal Inn Mid Winter Classic tournament in Minneapolis, MN. Thank you, NAFA |

The 2017 CanAm Flyball Classic is almost here!!!!

开云体育CanAm is fast approaching, and the welcome letter will be up shortly, but we wanted to give everyone a quick heads up and highlight one item early. ? On Sunday, we plan to start early, at 7am, with the first round of Championship races for the Regular class. The round robin racing will follow those races. ? This is being done in an attempt to have racing end at more enjoyable hour. Look forward to seeing everyone in a week! ? See you soon! |

There’s still time to send in your Regional MVP nominations for the dog you deem most valuable in your region!? Check out? to nominate! The Clyde Moore Hall Of Fame is waiting on its next set of Inductees as well! Each year, NAFA may induct up to two (2) dogs into the Hall of Fame.? NAFA members are asked to nominate candidates that they consider deserving of this award, using the following criteria: Longevity: A dog must have raced in NAFA sanctioned events for a minimum of four years Notoriety: How well known is this dog? Nominees should be easily recognizable within their own racing area Team value: What is the worth of this dog to its team, i.e. untiring start dog, height dog, most consistent dog, fast anchor dog. Nominees for the Clyde Moore Memorial Hall of Fame must not have earned NAFA points within 18 months of the close of the nominating period. Visit ?to nominate! Judge of the Year recognizes a NAFA? judge who shows dedication, knowledge, sportsmanship, and outstanding contribution to the sport. The award may be given to one judge in each racing year. To be eligible, the judge must be a current NAFA? judge at the approved level or higher. The judge must be in good standing with NAFA? and must have been a judge for at least five years at the time of nomination.? Check out? for additional criteria! Don't forget!
