I am happy to announce that CanAm registration is now open!
I have received a couple good questions that I also thought I would anwer.
The first is what will be the mask policy for the CanAm. NAFA will apply our existing policy and guidelines for CanAm. What that means is any local/state rules will take priority if they should be more restrictive?than CDC guidelines. If there are no superseding local policies, NAFA will continue to follow the guidance of the CDC. Currently the guidance allows for vaccinated people to go unmasked if they so choose, and for unvaccinated people to continue to mask. If that policy changes before CanAm, NAFA will follow suit with the updated guidelines. If you aren't vaccinated and want to go unmasked at CanAm, there is plenty of time to go out and get vaccinated!
The other question was around double points. Double flyball points will start when flyball is up and running in all regions. NAFA is hopeful that it will occur on October?1st, 2021. If that holds, then yes, CanAm would have double points. The Board will be making an official decision soon, but they are monitoring the border situation as policies for the US and Canada are different and are in the middle of being established. ? Thanks,
