Re: FT710 switches from SSB to CW-U automatically. Why?

Re: Worked All States / Counties QSO Party Rules
Hi Scott, Thanks for the background info. Given the limited frequency space of the two bands, I understand why doing something that might overtax them is a concern. There are plenty of other options,

Wow - fantastic score, Scott. Nice Job! Just attaining 1 million contest points requires a serious effort. Doubling that is more than twice as hard!

Re: Worked All States / Counties QSO Party Rules
There is a lot of activity by MARAC , the County Hunters, in the WARC bands. County Hunting is not contesting. QSO parties are but not hunting. K5TIA Sent: Wednesday, November 27, 2024 8:06 AM To:

Re: Still no luck re: Rig interface stopped working on my Yaesu FT-710 #aclog
Thanks for the suggestion, Mitch. It turned out to be an issue with the rig itself. I did a factory reset, and everything now works perfectly. 73, Ken

Re: Worked All States / Counties QSO Party Rules
When WARC bands were introduced, it was decided to exclude them from contesting due to the small bandwidth of each of those bands (12, 17, 30 meters) More here WARC bands en.wikipedia.org 73 Dave wo2x

Re: Worked All States / Counties QSO Party Rules
Hey Brian. Just a wild guess (WAG) but it¡¯s probably because most contests do not include the WARC bands. I¡¯m probably wrong and I¡¯m sure someone will correct me. Regards, Pat ¨C KZ5J Sent:
