Re: Gridqsuare Error

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for your e-mail.? Create a station location in TQSL with the proper grid square and be sure to select it when uploading the associated QSOs for that location.

Enjoy!

I just click ignore.? ?it is trying to upload a second time, before aclog does not mark as sent the first time, until lotw confirm receipt.

if time passes, I would do a download first, so maybe the N will change to a Y, and then upload will be ok

Hello Everyone,

I use N3FJP ACLog on my home computer in the shack. When operating portable, I use either PoloLog or HAMRS, then export the ADIF into ACLog. However, even before using these portable logging programs, I encountered this error (screenshot attached).

After a day of operating in the shack, my usual process for uploading logs is:

  1. I select the Station Location.

  2. I click "All Contacts Not Uploaded".

When I do this, a window pops up saying:
"Errors detected – Station location does not match QSO details."
It also shows a message about the grid square.

I typically hit Ignore and select "Upload New QSOs Only". Sometimes, I go back and manually fix the invalid QSO, but the next time I upload, a different QSO shows up with the same invalid grid issue.

Is there a way to permanently fix this? Can it be bypassed? I’m wondering if I misconfigured the software when I first set it up over a decade ago.

Thanks for the help,

Charlie - WA2NWN
