I have one of my three "rigs" set up as "none."?? Then I can just use Cntrl-X to turn off the ACLog <-> Computer I/O to allow WSJT-X to take rig control.? When done with FT8, I use Cntrl-X again to re-establish ACLog I/O control.

My issue is that sometimes I go days without turning on WSJT-X, but I open AC-Log every morning.? And if at some point throughout the day something pops up on FT8, I do not want to just shut down AC-Log so I can start WSJT-X first, then AC-Log AGAIN.
The way I have it set up is working for me.? Once something is working, I’m inclined to not fix it more.
Turning on WSJT first if desired is the simplest way but I still want to get it working in the manner alluded to in the N3FJP FAQ. Because I like playing around. :)
