Hi Jon. Something you might try to solve your problem. Go to settings, then API, click on the center tab WSJT-X Interface, then Configure. You'll get a pop-up screen with all the different colors for all the different entities. You can choose what back colors, forecolors you like for the display. The pic attached is my setup and display when CQ only display is checked, similar?to the pic you sent. You can make the color changes that you desire, then click Done, This is what I did to solve the color issue you described. Hope this helps a bit!
