Re: Double Entry

Hi Ross,

Thanks for your e-mail.? I'm sorry that you have run into trouble.? In virtually every case I am aware of, double entries occur when folks are running WSJT-X and another intermediary program, such as JTAlert, both set to log the QSO.? Adjusting the connected programs so that only one sends AC Log the QSO for logging remedies that.

I typically use WSJT-X directly connected to AC Log and I've never experienced double logging here.

Our software logs whatever it receives from the connected program(s).? There isn't anything in our software that would cause double logging.? Any necessary settings modifications would be in the connected program, not AC Log.

I hope that this helps!

Enjoy!

I looked at an entry #63646, which didn't help me.?
I haven't changed anything, but recently AClog is duplicating contacts. These come from WsJT.?
It has occurred in just the last week after logging thousands of contacts correctly for years.
I shut everything down and rebooted the computer, so it would eliminate running duplicate programs.
When I get anything running, I rarely tweak settings. I will use them for years
