??? First and foremost, when I started using N3FJP's Sweeps log decades ago, it sped me up and improved my accuracy immensely.? I can't imagine operating, contest or not, without his logging programs.
That said...
???? I will probably get some flack for this, but it's a pet peeve of mine and appears in every CW contest:? cut numbers.? When I'm operating at the upper edge of my CW speed and expecting numbers and you send me letters or weird characters, it always trips me up.? I end up stopping for a sec, trying to understand what I just heard, and asking for a repeat.? It slows both of us down.? Rather than speeding the contact, it slows it down...a lot.
??? Please, please, please, do *NOT* use cut numbers unless it's to send a 5NN.? Otherwise it will slow us both down.
